The pictures and the videos you are going to see in this article are taken in Kars a city of Turkey. Municipality of Kars made a “cleaning operation” to the homeless dogs for the third Multinational Caucasian Cultures Festival which will have folke dance groups from 11 countries. The night before the the men of municipality seeked for homeless dogs at the back streets and shooted them poisenous injections. Shooted dogs agonized in front of streets for hours. After their death, they were put in dustcarts. While the workers throwing the dogs inside to the dustcard with shovels, it has seen that some dogs even arent dead yet and agonizing. That still living dogs are pressed in the dustcards. During all these, the public of Kars and little children were watching the massacre just like watching a football game.
Mayor of Kars Naif Alibeyoğlu confessed the event and members of his team cited what happened literally with the following words: “ We are using poisonous injections for killing. We are going to kill all the homeless dogs in the city. They cant take the alive dogs to the vehicles. There is no question of that. Citizens complain and we go to the place and maket he destruction. “(Principle of Zabıta (a municipal police force charged with seeing that various laws and ordinances are observed, especially those dealing with prices, fair marketing, building construction, and sanitation) Ahmet İli)

Sadly I have seen the site.. Someone asked “How can we stop this?” Here is the answer: please send this site’s link to all the people you know.. Maybe only than these people may do something about it, cause its only money that they care, if it stops coming in, or if theres a threat to their welfare, than they may do something about it. I read the minister saying that these photos might have been from people who are trying to avoid Turkey’s development in tourism! Funny! May this change the facts? I am a Turk, and regretfully could not write my name, because the democracy here, is kind of its own! Unless you think opposite to them, other rules may apply.. I am a Turk. I am glad you guys see what we put up with, these horrible politicians. I promise you Mr Gunay is one of the nicest politicians of this country. I am not surprised, though, with these massacres. Even human life is worthless in Turkey, thousands of people die in ways that are easily preventable with simple rules.
my worry about your campaign is this though:” You protest, less people go to Turkey, people (but not the politicians) get poorer, they give less shit about animals, situation gets worse. and you cost yourself a cheap and nice vacation. ” that is the alternative outcome of your initiative. and don’t forget Turkish politicians are not regular ones, you have seen how out of this world their defence reflexes are. Just plain funny.
