I agree whole heartedly.
I was enchanted by the dogs of Bodrum Marina. They were all well fed, and without fear of humans. They were well adjusted, and the shop owners seem not to be bothered by them. Most had “tags” on the ears, to show that they had been through the control of the municipality.
My husband took hundreds of pictures of lovely dogs, as they lounged in the streets of Bodrum.
How sad to find out that these lovely Bodrum dogs were killed.
I was saddened to see the number of dogs killed in Antalya (one of my yearly vacation spots) and in Istanbul, my home town. I have saved many dogs from the streets of of Istanbul.
I feel that the children of Turkey would benefit, if they were taught not to fear dogs.
Every dog owner should be registered, and required to neuter their dogs, or keep them under strict control to prevent abandoned and unwanted puppies. All dog owners should pay a fee for a licence to own a pet, and the monies collected should be used to take care of the stray animals.
All animal shelters should be run by people who are animal lovers, and not for financial gain.
Most important : that such mass killing of dogs should be outlawed.
There are enough big investors in Turkey, who seem to be able to build new summer villages, outlandish modern shopping malls and resort spots, beach facilities that charge outrages summs of money from their customers.
A part of these investor’s monies should be invested in the environment, and dogs are a part of our environment, our lives.
There should be some moral concience, some civic responsibility expected from each habitant of the city.
Surely, providing water in the summer’s heat, giving leftovers for the strays would not bankrupt anybody.
Till the attitude of hostility, lack of care and responsibility for the dogs is a way of life, and killing of dogs is forbidden,
I will not vacation in Antalya or Bodrum!

I ve a dog thats kind of Boxer in Turkey and i did not pay any fee for a license pet and anyone has to register their pets

There has always been people with mental problems all over the World and in every country. Do I have to remind the KFC psycho’s, baby seal hunters(remember? some men with clubs, crushing baby seals heads?) , whale hunters, dolphin hunters, shark hunters(Shark fin soup??) etc.

So you should not judge a whole country because of few idiot’s acts.

BTW. I have 3 dogs and I am feeding a cat with 3 kittens.

There are countless people in Turkey love animals and try to stop animal killings. The pictures you publish are from Turkish media who responded to this very actively. Yes there are animal killings but you cannot throw away all the efforts made by good people. There is a law in Turkey and it is crime to kill animal. People who are responsible killing those dogs are taken to court by some organisations. To protest such behaviour is welcome by me but to write off whole nation is unacceptable. There are good people and bad people like any country. Instead of throwing the whole why not side with the good and make a difference.

Well, Turkish public is very concerned about Rabies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabies) (http://www.bioone.org/perlserv/?request=get-document&doi=10.1580%2F06-WEME-BR-054R.1&ct=1&SESSID=08c87e0e5bf6fd06715281d7af7b6ccd) case transmited via dog’s bite. Specially free and not immuned wild dogs is real public concern in Turkey. So, in order to make choice whome to survive, sometimes local othorities wipes out unlease, not controlled and not vaccined wild dogs to prevent public health and concern.
The mild caracterized dogs are surelly captivated via anstezic guns, or nets etc, but wild ones and dogs travelling with group is not easy to control, as last resort sure they are shoot down to protect visitors and general public. So it is hard decission to make but someone has to do.

I am deeply saddened by what i have seen and read, but unfortunanetly i strongly disagree in blaming TURKEY as a country for what has happened and is happening right now. Let’s not forget what the English are doing in Africa, if it’s this easy to blame a country for what is happening. The hunger, aids, malnutrition, unnecessary deaths (preventable but prefered not to), etc, caused by the diamond and gold mines civil wars. Who’s to blame for these civil wars? what is being done about it? who is to answer those parents who have lost their children? my answer would be clearly THE ENGLISH but no this is not so important but the deaths of a few dogs in Turkey are more important to start a petition to stop tourist visiting the country. Let’s not hide the truth about Great Britian anymore and get a petition started to stop tourist visiting England!!!

Dear English Friends,

We appreciate your concern about our animals. Obviously, we as the people do not support such activities by local and national government.

That said, it’s also difficult to understand why you would target only Turkey, if your intentions are to protect all animals in the entire world. Why not talk about Japanese killings of wales, why not talk about Canadian killings of foxes, why not talk about your own porn industry where animals are forced to act in such gross ways…?

Finally, if you view Turkey as “hell for animals”, we view Iraq as “hell for humans” created by the English. We don’t have red carpet rolled out in our airports and ports waiting for you. All you do here in Turkey is drink, fight, and disturb the peace anyways. Keep your British Pounds where they belong, we like it here without the English anyways.

well, you are right, to some degree, about the way animals are being treated in turkey. but the way you express yourself suggests that you have some kind of ulterior motive. (thus all the conspiracy theories etc.)

turkey is certainly not the only country in the world that is less than perfect when it comes to animal rights. but current political scene here has much deeper issues. (not that animals are unimportant)

that brings us to akp ( ironically stands for justice & development party),which is essentially a bunch of under- educated morons who are elected by masses of under-educated people. pretty much like neo-cons in usa. just a side effect of democracy. naturally, judging a whole nation by a few examples is, well, downright stupid.

if you are serious about this, know that trying to sabotage one of the major income sources of an already staggering economy, solves nothing.

Someone who is conscious to defend animal rights should be conscious enough to not to label a whole country in that way.

Animal rights activist are struggling in Turkey. If your aim is really to help animals, collaborate with those local organizations, make connection between british animal rights organizations and turkish ones… Write to EU institution to urge more animal rights in joining countries… Certainly, spreading prejudices and national attacks will not help.

I love what I see here..

On one hand you have the ultra-nationalist idiots going on an on about Afghanistan, Irak and every other failed state in the world, failing to do something about one of the nations biggest embarrassments, on the other you have A LOT of turkish people frustrated by their own government breaking their own laws on a daily basis.

Turkey has wonderful animal welfare laws.. yes.. but who cares if nobody applies them? Municipalities all over the country are rounding up dogs, neutering, cashing out on the ovaries and testicles and then dropping the dogs on forest to die.. or worst.. killing them right away.

Turkey is hell for animals. Turkey as a whole is the last place you would want to be born into if you were a dog. One step forward.. there should be a law in this country forbidding people to own any animals. I am sure most animal lovers would very much prefer that to having to see scores of starving animals in the forest just because some ignorant and corrupt politician wants to have his street dog free.

I meet many many great animal lovers on a daily basis.. but for each one of those I meet a politician that believes all turkish people are there to serve him, and that laws dont apply to him.

I love the expressions Brave as a Turk, and Proud to be a Turk, but truly.. I dont see much bravery and pride out there. Just ignorance, laziness and A LOT of fear.

Turkey is Heaven.. right.. Heaven is quite a relative concept.

Someone should show those people what goes one, better, do onto them what is being done in this particular heaven.

Anyway, just another dumbo cheap nationalist. These guys would be the first to run and hide peeing in their pants if they saw their mothers raped.

I applaud you in your initiative… continue shaking those idiots out of their chairs and encourage people to take action.. finally, I have no doubt you love your country.. this kind of action is something only someone profoundly in love but saddened by its own nation would ever undertake.

1. I protest very strongly against any kind of cruelty to animals. Yet, your site seems to be a down right attack on Turkish tourism. I think you need to get your priorities right. Are you more concerned about the outrageous killings or are you trying to hamper Turkey’s tourism industry. I find it extremely dificult to find you sincere.
Here is a question you might want to answer. What happens to all those pets that your government can’t find homes for? In my book, killing pets behind closed doors is no more innocent than killing them in the public eye. Do you condenm your own government with the same effort and energy? To you protest tourists coming into your country?
Can you also tell me what happens to the 1000’s of pets bought for children on christmas? I’m sure your familiar with the expression ‘ a pet for life not just for christmas.’ Where do these pets end up?
All animals have as much right to live as we do, and millions of Turks would say the same. However, this site is offensive in content and seems to result in hatred towards the Turkish people. There are more constructive ways of protesting such outrageous incidents.

Bu sitenin hazırlanışında gözüme çarpan bir şey var. Öyle bir grup hayvanseverin hazırladığı bir siteye pek benzemiyor. Özellikle imajların, bannerların ve tipografinin kullanışı oldukça profesyonal. Ayrıca bütün göze çarpan yerlerde Türkiye’nin kendi tanıtımı için hazırladığı “laleli Turkey” logosu neredeyse her göze çarpan yerde kullanılmakta. Açıkcası bu sitenin hazırlanışında sadece Türkiye’deki hayvan haklarının göz ardı edilmesinin ön plana alındığını sanmıyorum. Bir parça farklı ve ard niyetli amaçlar varmış gibi gözükmekte.

I am a member of a local street animals association in the southwest of Turkey. Me (I am a Turkish citizen) and my friends(Turkish, English, German, Italian and Dutch) are trying our best to save the lives of the street dogs and cats,
neutering + vaccinating and rehoming them. And we are getting support from our colleagues in Europe. And support from the Municipality on some terms.

Our only wish is to be spreaded around all Turkey like our organisationwise with the help of the local authorities and the government of course, and some Organisations in Europe and like repectful RSPCA in U.K. and all the others.

The education of people is the first and most important element in helping animals. I know, it will come and be successfull in my country too. All Europe had lived this transition period.

I am personally signing petitions continiously for Humane Society International and NRDC, etc. but never hearing nor
seeing this ” UNCIVIL PROTEST ” in their webs like in your website.

IT IS ONLY CONFUSING OF TOPICS. It is not ethic to attack any country with such an aggressive style without knowing the realities, the customs, social life and the people of a country.

EU should be more insisting on their proposals of Human Rights and Animals rights rather than to propose such laws to put pressure on my public to tighten their belts and making them only to think how they will survive for tomorrow or another day.

Kindly, I am suggesting all of you to come to Turkey and look around without “blinkers” and watch out, who we are the Turks, while you are suntanning and trying to taste our delicious Mediterrenean food.

We, human beings should stop fighting with each other in all terms, but should do SOLID ACTIVISIM rather than to
accuse each other with such a CHEAP and VULGAR aggression.

It is not the matter of being Turk, Greek, Canadian, Japan or Spanish and to deface or to be defaced.

We, the civil Associations are ready to discuss and settle
the problems with your cooperation upon your requests,

Greetings all,

I am saddened that it has come to this to get the attention of authorities on the plight of animals, mainly dogs, in Turkey. It is heart-wrenching for me to read these stories, especially when our two dogs and blind cat are comfortably sleeping on the couch.

It is unfortunate that the minister responded in a dismissive manner rather than proposing or discussing programs to address the issue. He comes across as short-sighted and insincere to think this issue will go away by showing a photo of himself holding a puppy. Pointing out what happens during the war in Iraq or with animals in other countries, as some commentators have chosen to do, is irrelevant, distracts from the main issue, and does absolutely no good for animals in Turkey.

Yes, there are many examples of animal cruelty in many developed countries including Europe and US. However, the general public sentiment about dogs and animals is much more accepting and favorable, and state and federal laws are well established and are strictly enforced to punish those who brutalize animals. Not only are laws deficient or rarely enforced in Turkey, some municipality participate in the brutality of animal care. Why there is such negative sentiment in Turkey … or in Egypt or China… I can think of many reasons but that’s not why I’m posting here.

I am not asking you to shut the site down, yet at the same time, I consider the boycott approach unfair to many hardworking and very friendly, hospitable Turks who depend on tourism for their income and livelihood. However there needs to be a compromise. Since you made your point and claim only to be for the animal wellfare, I would ask all of you to take the next step and get involved in this cause. There is a handful, albeit amazingly dedicated volunteers in Turkey who work their hearts out for the well-being of stray animals. As someone who is involved with animal organizations in USA, I can tell you that their level of energy and commitment surpasses that of most volunteers I have seen, plus their determination in working with mostly ignorant municipality workers should be admired.

So I would kindly ask for those of you who truly care about the animal rights issues and the well-being of mainly the stray dogs in Turkey to help either by donations or by participating as needed.

I am really curious about the conscience of the person who orders and performs the killing. How would they feel when they embrace their children or eat? Do they have feelings? What do they want from innocent dogs and cats (my cat has been missing for 10 days now)? Do they enjoy it? How can we trust them and let them rule over us? We occupy their space and then find the right to terminate them. Yes, Turkey killed many dogs and tortured a poor dolphin. It is too bad that some things just do not change. But, I do wish and hope that they do change in Turkey. I do wish and want to believe that cruelty against them stop. I hope stray cats and dogs we feed do not disappear all of a sudden. They are good friends and we do have the obligation to protect them. They loved us unconditionally and trusted us with all their hearts. In return, we could not protect them. As a person who loves her country, I want the best for Turkey. If we dont speak about our wrongdoings with an open heart, we can’t improve.

A very unhealthy approach.

If you intend to help the animals in Turkey, come to Turkey and help them. If you can not come, donate to Turkish efforts for increasing the quality of life for animals.

If you witness cruelty towards animals, notify the authorities. Animals are protected by law in Turkey. The authorities may not be too anxious to abide by those laws but if you are adamant, they have no other choice.

Boycotting the country will not aid the animals at all. People with your kind of approach to problems may even find the poor animals responsible for their own financial loss.

If your intention is helping the animals in Turkey. Do so.

What you are doing here is actually harming them.

I love Turkey and its people, But i cannot sit back and ignore the killing of innocent animals , many that i have come to know and love over the years that i have been going to Turkey,
I have been truely saddned to hear of the missing dogs in Altinkum today, Where are they, are they even alive ? I would have the same concern if this was in any other country, including the UK.
Turkey is quick to ask us to visit its beautiful country and yet it hides its dark secret … that of its cruel inhumane treatment of animals, But in todays world of internet communication it can hide it no longer, So i urge Turkish officials to stop this cruelty and start looking after its street animals , which to the majority of tourists are part of its charm.

I am so very sad at the things that have been written here.
The whole point of this is to protect the animals, no?
If this is in fact the case, then why is everybody moving away from this and talking about Iraq, Germany, England etc??

The issue here, is not what goes on in these other countries, but how we can stop animals, namely dogs being slaughtered needlessly in Turkey. How are we to do this when all anybody here can do is petty name-calling and being aggressive to one another?

I support all and any attempts to STOP animal cruelty of any kind. I do not agree with the Japanese for their slaughter of whales, neither do I support Canada for the slaughter of 12 week old fur seals. Now that I have been made aware of the situation in Turkey, I do NOT support their slaughter of dogs.

Please people, remember why you visited this site in the first place. If you must argue other points, find a blog somewhere else.

If you want to protest some country, You should show U.S.A. or Russia or U.K. they are doing this to people.

Every website wich defends animal rights is a good website!
It doesn’t matter how you do it as long people are coming and joining in this matter then we should do it and get along with each other.
the animals are depending on us, so not make it an issue on how a website looks like, but join in!

This is about animal cruelty in Turkey and yes also in other country’s aswell! Unfortenately turkey has made the top of the list right now!

Like i said before, this is about animal cruelty and most defenently not about Humans or how they are tortured or killed, i really dont care about that! Im on a site for animal rights, not on a site for human rights!

It is the FACT that there is cruelty against animals in Turkey just like in any other developed or developing country. And there are plenty of websites, groups, organisations etc. all around the world protesting the cruelty that is taking place on a daily basis.

The aim of this website is to highlight the problem in Turkey.

This is an issue of HUMANITY!

WAKE UP and see the fear and suffering in the eyes of dying animals. And if you are living in a country in which the animals are suffering for NO REASON then you are responsible for doing something about it.

Turkey has bad publicity because Turkey has got a bad record for animal rights! Unless the Turkish government does something about it this will continue.

Although I agree that animals are in a very poor state in turkey; they have the same fate in other less wealthy countries. There are many organisation in turkey who are fighting to improve the conditions and and they are succeding finding loving homes for stray animals. The number of organisations and individuals is increasing.

BUT its not enough.

And more importantly continue supporting animal welfare organizations; this is the only way to help these poor animals who depend OUR support.

Hello Everyone I am not racist, and I don,t take kindly to people calling me a racist, this is not against the Turkish people, it is against the authorities that are doing these massacres, I started these rallies and believe me I did not have to think long before I decided to do something about these massacres, the strays and other animals have the right to live, and who are we to deny them that right, these animals have suffered enough, and there is no need for them to suffer as they have been, the majority of people in Turkey are a kind loving people ,but as in all countries there is good and bad ,what is happening to these animals is barbaric cruelty, and they are part of Turkey,s heritage like it or not ,I love Turkey and have enjoyed my time that I have spent there with lots of kind loving people, but I cannot condone what is happening, the law states that animals have to be neutered, spayed, tagged, vaccinated ,against rabbies etc, that law 5199 has been made by the Turkish goverment why is it not being abided by, the worldwide rallies were a sucess, but this is only the start of the campaign for the animals and I have lots of wonderful Turkish friends who I love very much this is your country, and your animals, treat both with the respect that they deserve, but I will not stand by and watch this barbaric cruelty continue, and I say this to the Turkish people this is your country, educate the young on animal welfare, these animals do not deserve this, thats all they want is a kind loving home, with a family that will care for them, as they treated with kindness they will look after you,thank you for your comments, but I will continue this campaign untill the law 5199 is abided by,

I am going to Bodrum next year (2009) for 6 months, I have been going Turkey for 11 years and every year i fill my families suitcases with dog & cat treats and spend atleast £150 on dog & cat food. I am not saying that all the animals i see are badly treating god no most animals i see now are well taken care off they have tags and homes and are fat full of food. But 4/5 years ago this was very diffrent not many Turkish people would feed a dog let alone take care of it. But now the country has changed alot for better not worse. These pictures could have been taken in Turkey yet again they could have been taken anywhere.Turkey is not the only country on thie Earth mis-treating animals god my country has many sick twisted people abusing animals but yet we have many organisations to stop this happening to animals, people also get prosicuted sent to jail & given fines for this kind of cruetly but non of that happens in Turkey and i think that is what needs to be changed. Non of our countries are ever going to 100% stop mis-treating animals but with strickt laws we can cut down on all of this not just in Turkey but in Romania,China,Bulgaria they need laws!!
While i am out there next year i want to do more than feed a few dogs & cats i want to help try and put a stop to this. Does anyone know of any organisations out in Bodrum that i can connect with next year and help stop this? I would really love to do my bit as spending alot of time there i would love to know that i have done something to help save atleast 1 dog and cat. I really need your help as to point me in the right direction. If some one could please e-mail me with infomation i would be forever grateful & so will the animals.

I eat beef (sorry), this is because i’m human (and all of you other guys/girls, say us humans), our biologic past is built on it. It would only stop, if there was no humans on earth. But this is not the solution to wipe ourselves off the earth, better if so lets erase the universe. No, this can not happen. One solution is to put pressure on (local) governments. Only they can put pressure on single citizens to stop cruelty. Only they can put laws that forbid cruelty. Else we as single persons have no power and it won’t change any bit whatever we do on our own.

If you slaughter an animal as seen in photos in this blog or hidden meat factories in all countries, it’s the same. Humans as a race do eat meat, they kill animals for fun, for money, for business, or out of stupidity or due hate in them, and kill humans, too. That’s why we weren’t extinguished by evolution and we all survived until today (including YOU!). We humans infected the billion years old life on earth, as parasites, counting with exponentially growing numbers, more than 7 billion, with every spot that we mark where we built homes. It a disease, the world overrun by us as parasites and all the rest nature including those tortured mammals are to suffer.

Turkey is in opposite very very very animal friendly country. There are monkey brains slurped out of alive monkeys, after their skull is opened (while alive) which are fixed in middle of round tables, bleeding crying shouting, in some country (China). Some country even roasts and eats dead born human babies (Asian country and very developed: Japan) as a delicacy. I believe those people are minority.

Humanity (this only being few people who understood the laws of universe, say mathematics, the language in which the universe is written, someone like Plato, Newton, Einstein, naming some famous ones, and all other infamous people with very high IQ having studied to fullest having degrees and worked hard for science as a community) is what is needed. This is what we need to be, to understand us and our surrounding. If we’re dumb, average, lying, cheating, ignorant, racist, parasitic, stupid, alcohol drinking, feeling based thinking, monthly salary receiving, TV shows watching, ICQ chatting, low and mid level IQ people (99.99 % of humans including myself), this cruelty will go on. If you can say that you know more than Prof. Steven W. Hawking (he was wrong, there are no black holes with endless density, which is a singularity from wrongly formulated mathematical function), then the world will be safe and free from any injustice and cruelty. To be able to say it, go learn what you are, learn everything, push your limits, especially about the universe. Do not learn from ancient sources like religion books or your culture, or your teachers or your parents or from libraries or newspapers, those are old news from past, there is no enlightenment there. Believe that. The hypocrisy of so-called civilized European and Americans really disgust me. Catching and collecting stray cats and dogs, placing them into animal shelters and camps, and then “putting them to sleep” after some time doesn’t make you innocent at all.

We rarely see dogs and cats out on the streets in those countries. At least there are stray dogs and cats freely roaming the cities in Turkey. I’m accepting the facts that there are some animal cruelty acts though. But this is all because our governments try to act like those “civilized countries” and their “snobbish culture”.

DON’T COME TO OUR COUNTRY PLEASE!
And if you do, don’t complain about those creatures, if you happen to run into one or two of them. Just look at your modern society and try to blame the social structure that you build, and the influence on the world.

Ok! Nobody wants this. Because we (Turkish people) love animals, they are our friends and for must of us they are not just a friend, they are our family. I have been with animals all my life. this is also my concern. but your style is not sincere!

I’m sure you have very hatefull background for Turkey. But you’re an unfair, and discriminatory.. if you aware all the animal disasters all around the world you should also put those countires and pictures not just Turkey.
Put china, they are killing dogs and it is a food industry for them.

what you can do instead of collecting signatures from people ( unfortunately most of them do not know your real purpose) take an action and collect money, send it to Turkish animal shelters, because mostly these animals have no registiration, no vaccines, no health protection, try to make help those shelters in order to make these animals healty and safe, rabid is a dangerous disase, and we still have this disaster guess what? because nobody takes care of this health problem.
Be a leader and make health advertisements for Turkish animals…
not make false and unreal defamations for Turkey and Turkish people..

I am one of the Dutch friends of Ms. Gulden Ersaka who has responded earlier on your website and who’s comment can be read on this same page. I absolutely agree with her. Attacking a country and its people will certainly not help the animals. The same applies to some kind of boycot. If you really want to help the dogs you stay in touch with the local people, you try to support with all your might those Turkish people that do have the awareness and the heart for what is best for the dogs considering the circumstances and you certainly DO NOT blaze away on your safe self proclaimed moral high-ground.

On a quite regular basis me and my wife come to Turkey and the only suntan we get is from working in the dogshelter or otherwise aiding the local projects for helping animals as volunteers and not from a lying down on the beach. We are fully aware of the stomach churning things that can and do happen to dogs. The Turkish as well as foreign animal rescuers try their utmost to counter that.
Maybe you could take a look at the website http://www.stingtingaai.nl. See for yourself how quite a number of Turkish people come to the aid of animals.

I went to Turkey several times and I used to live in Istanbul for some period and I was really disappointed and I felt very bad to see all these dogs in the street always in danger and without knowing if they will arrive alive until the next day, this is an uncivilezed and shamed situation and everybody should be aware of this.
I’m italian and here after some years we got from the government serious laws that defend the dogs and put even to prison their owners if they treat them in a bad way or if they leave them in the street.
In any case about the stray dogs the government is always trying to do the best because we must love animals! there is a campaign saying ” are you human or inhuman?” because no person should be able to leave a dog in a street!
I hope this group of volonteers can be really helpful in Instabul and all over Turkey, in order that government understand and can be really aware of this serious and barbaric situation!

Do you think those nice Americans checked to see if there were any doggies in the way before the launched “shock and awe” attacks??

Do you think they have their drones armed with HELLFIRE MISSILES take an extra look to check for animals before launching against a house where a Taliban commander has forced his way in and killing him …and the family who live there and their dogs cats sheep goats etc.

How many dolphins died in the nuclear tests at Bikini Atholl? How many are killed or maimed or deafened in naval live firing excercises or seismic prospecting for oil.

You guys really need to change your priorities to reflect the real real killers and destroyers of both people and animals in this world.

Yes, instead go to the US, or England since in those beautiful and modern countries, they never kill dogs that are left in the shelter. Idiots

this site uses turkey as a scapegoat we agree that turkey has serious problems about animal rights but doesnt the whole world has? saying that turkey is hell for animals is wrong, its wrong to blame us for all humanitys sacrifice and sins. im a turkish person and i HATE to see the way my goverment treat to animals its true that cats and dogs are poisoned, killed and suffered even burried alive ! but turkey is just an example for the cruelty of humans against the animals please do not use us as a scape goat! there are so much sad situations happening on earth like,

canadians hunting baby harpseals
japaneese hunting dolphins and whales
china skinning every kind of furry animal alive
india, singapore, even U.S and the list goes on…
